With all the annoyances I've had with my GT over the summer, it's nice to learn that it likes the winter! So far it's handling well in snow and cold. I'm plowing right through unplowed/underplowed roads pretty well and stopping is not too fish-tailey. The car also does not make as many interior rattles as in the summer, which you would think would be the opposite; usually the cold causes plastic parts to contract and rattle. But my GT's noises have subsided in the cold weather. In the really hot weather I get all kinds of rattles and annoying creaks. The front disk brakes are still groaning all the time, but I am thinking it's because it's so wet all the time, we don't get much of a break in New England as far as drying out this time of year. Anyway, just thought I'd share that it's a good winter car so far.

Can't complain about mine either! Except the stock Michelins could be a tad better!

I'll find out how well mine does in the next couple of days. Snow is in the forecast here. I will mount the snow tires later today.

my GT loves the snow too, and my stock mickies have 28k on them already!!! they're about 2/3 shot, and still my GT holds its own with any other FWD car out there... and that's without ABS or TCS!

When I drove through some nasty snowy blustery conditions in the Sierras after New Year's, my car handled like a champ. Not once did I feel out of control - traction was no problem in light snow and slush, even on ice.
